For real estate agents

Stay top of mind
without staying in touch.

Your clients open your lyst when the water heater dies, not when you send a newsletter. Every hire keeps you present — and gives you a warm reason to reach out when you want to.

How handoff works

Four steps. You already do three of them.

01

You already have the lyst

Every agent has a mental rolodex — the plumber you’d actually call, the electrician who shows up. We turn it into something you can hand over.

02

Hand it off at closing

Your lyst gets a link and a printable card with your name on it. Drop it in the closing packet — no extra work at the table.

03

They hire at their moment of need

New homeowners open it when something breaks — right when trust matters most, not when you happen to be top of mind.

04

Every hire comes back to you

Each attributed hire is a real, timely reason to reconnect — not a cold check-in a year later.

What changes for you

The closing gift that keeps working.

Every hire comes back to you — with a name and a date. "Saw you hired Nokomis — how’d it go?" lands differently than "just checking in!"

You're remembered for the right reason. Not a magnet on the fridge — the name they think of when something breaks, and when a friend asks for an agent.

No drip campaign to maintain. The lyst does the staying-in-touch. You reach out when there's an actual reason.

You look more prepared at the listing appointment. "Here’s the lyst my clients get at closing" beats a stack of business cards.

You stop retyping the plumber's number. One link, forever.

Fewer "who was that guy?" texts. Clients find it themselves.

It stays current. Swap providers in and out any time — no stale PDF in a drawer.

You get proof. "My clients hired 40 pros off my lyst last year" is a marketing line no other agent can say.

Your providers know the work came from you. Every hire strengthens a vendor relationship you already rely on.

What you see

Proof your name is still working for you.

No dashboard to configure, no leads to chase. Just a running count of who's still hiring off the lyst you handed them — months or years after closing.

What it costs

Free for agents. Always.

Your branded lyst, the handoff, the closing-packet card, and seeing every hire that comes off it — all free, no lead fees, no per-referral charges.

Two things cost money, and both are optional:

Discoverable mode.

Your lyst shows up in Google when someone searches "best plumber in Linden Hills." You get search analytics and inbound from people who aren’t your clients yet. Priced like a listing tool, not a lead service.

Team & brokerage plans.

Shared providers, agent-level attribution, brokerage branding. Priced per agent.

Providers on your lyst can claim their profile free. If they want lead intake and referral analytics, they pay Localyst — never you, never your clients, and never per referral you send.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is this free?

Yes, for you. The branded lyst, the handoff, and seeing which clients hired off it are free — no fees, no lead charges. If you later want your lyst to show up in Google searches for your neighborhood, or your brokerage wants a team plan, those are paid add-ons. The handoff itself stays free.

How does Localyst make money?

From service providers who choose to pay for tools — lead intake, referral analytics, a simple way to manage the work that comes in. Providers never pay to be on your lyst and never pay for referrals. Agents never pay for leads. That’s what keeps a lyst an honest recommendation.

What if my clients don't use it?

Then you've lost nothing — we built it, not you. Most new homeowners need three or four providers in the first 90 days, and the lyst is the easiest place to find one. If yours isn't producing hires, we'll tell you what to change.

Will this make me look bad if it isn't ready?

No. Your lyst is link-only until you share it — nobody sees it before you do. You review it, edit it, and decide when it goes into a closing packet.

Do my clients need an account to see it?

No. They open the link, see your lyst, and can hire straight off it. Nothing to sign up for on their end.

What do the providers on my lyst see?

Just that a real person put them on a lyst — no rating, no ranking, nothing to chase. Being listed is the only signal.

Is this a referral-fee thing?

No. Localyst never pays agents for referrals, and agents never pay for leads — this is not a lead marketplace. The value is attribution: seeing which clients hired off your lyst, so you have a real reason to reach back out. That is the whole model.

How long does setup take?

Send us the providers you already recommend — a text or an email is fine — and your lyst is ready within 48 hours. If we can't hit that, we'll tell you why before you wait.

Can I change what’s on my lyst later?

Yes. It stays yours — swap providers in or out, add notes, keep it current, any time.

I run a team. Can we do this together?

Team and brokerage plans are coming — shared providers, agent-level attribution, brokerage branding. Get in touch and we'll set your team up ahead of launch.

Give your next closing gift something that lasts.
