A real estate agent hands each client a branded lyst of the local providers they trust at closing. The new homeowner hires off it when they need someone. Every hire comes back to the agent with a name and a date, and the provider knows exactly who sent them.
Is it free?
Yes — for everyone. Agents get their lyst built and handed off free. Homeowners open it, hire from it, and build their own for free. Providers claim their profile free. Nobody has to pay to participate.
So how does Localyst make money?
Optional upgrades. Agents can pay for a premium lyst — one that shows up in Google searches for their neighborhood, or a team plan for their brokerage. Providers can pay for tools that help them handle the work that comes in, like lead intake and referral analytics. Homeowners never pay for anything. And nobody, on any side, ever pays per referral or per lead. That’s what keeps a lyst an honest recommendation instead of an ad.
Is this a referral-fee thing?
No. Agents are never paid for referrals, providers never pay for leads, and this is not a lead marketplace. The value is attribution — knowing who hired whom, and who to thank for it.
Do I need an account?
Only if you want to build a lyst of your own. Opening someone’s lyst and hiring off it takes no signup at all.
Is this a review site?
