By creating an account or using Localyst, operated by Cloudburst Studio [legal entity name and address to be confirmed] (“Localyst,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Localyst lets users build and share a list of service providers they personally recommend, and lets business owners claim and manage the profile created when a customer lists them. Listing a business is an endorsement — Localyst does not support ratings, reviews, or negative feedback.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Listings, notes, and messages must be accurate and made in good faith. You may not add a business you don't genuinely recommend, impersonate another person or business, or use Localyst to send spam, harassment, or unlawful content.
A business profile is created automatically when a user adds a provider to their list. The person or people who actually run that business can claim the profile by verifying ownership of the business phone number, using a one-time code delivered by text message or, as an alternative, an automated phone call that reads the code aloud.
By providing your phone number to claim a business, you consent to receive an automated text message or phone call from Localyst for the purpose of verifying your business claim, and to receive account and service-related notifications (for example, alerts about a new message or lead) going forward.
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting content on Localyst, you grant us a license to display it as part of operating the service (for example, showing your public list or a business profile).
Localyst is provided “as is.” We don't vet, endorse, or guarantee the quality of any business listed on the platform — listings reflect one user's personal recommendation, not a review or rating from Localyst.
To the extent permitted by law, Localyst is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
You may stop using Localyst and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
